At the SFU Net Impact Segal Chapter we have challenged ourselves to use our business and entrepreneurial skills to raise $25,000 to adopt an entire village in Sierra Leone. Starting a FaceBook campaign is one of our ways of doing so. Each like on this FaceBook page will equal $1 towards our cause, up to a designated level set by our sponsors. At the moment, we have sponsors who have committed $5,000 towards the first 5,000 likes. We are also working on securing the remainder through donations made via the “Donate” tab on that page and by our team of MBA students who are fund-raising individually by putting their entrepreneurial skills to use.
